Steps to Officiate Games with BAASL


Step 1 - Get Certified

All referees must be certified by U.S. Soccer Federation. You must create an account and sign up for a Grassroots level course using this site - ​​https://www.ussoccer.com/refs


Step 2 - Submit Information

After you’ve completed your certification, send an email to referee@baasl.org including the following:

State-issued identification card. Ex: driver license, state ID, passport, birth certificate, matricula consular.  A state-issued I.D. from your home country is acceptable.

A signed I.R.S. W9 form with your Social Security Number (“SSN”) or Individual Tax Identification Number (“ITIN”). Access the form at https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-w-9

Current (or most recent) Referee Certification from U.S. Soccer or other official certifying association.

Include your availability and location preferences in the email.  We play most days of the week; evenings on week days and throughout the day on weekends. Our field locations can be viewed at https://baasl.org/locations.
