Steps to Officiate Games with BAASL


Step 1 - Get Certified

All referees must be certified by U.S. Soccer Federation. You must create an account and sign up for a Grassroots level course using this site - ​​https://www.ussoccer.com/refs


Step 2 - Submit Information

After you’ve completed your certification, send an email to referee@baasl.org including the following:

State-issued identification card. Ex: driver license, state ID, passport, birth certificate, matricula consular.  A state-issued I.D. from your home country is acceptable.

A signed I.R.S. W9 form with your Social Security Number (“SSN”) or Individual Tax Identification Number (“ITIN”). Access the form at https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-w-9

Current (or most recent) Referee Certification from U.S. Soccer or other official certifying association.

Include your availability and location preferences in the email.  Currently, we play every day except Mondays and Wednesdays.  Night games are during the week from 7pm to 11pm. Morning/afternoon games are on Saturdays. Afternoon/evening games are on Sundays. Our field locations can be viewed at https://baasl.org/locations.
