Inviting Players to Join Your Team
Once your team is registered, the next step is to invite players through LeagueApps. You’ll need each player’s email address to get started.
Log in to your LeagueApps Dashboard
Click your team name, then go to Roster > Manage/Add Players
Enter each player’s email to send an invite
Note: Terms may vary slightly depending on your device or browser. [Watch our step-by-step video instructions here.]
Once a player has registered, their profile can be easily copied into future seasons - no need to resend the invite.
✅ Important: All players must complete the BAASL waiver to be eligible to play. This waiver is automatically included in the registration process. If a player is on your roster, their waiver is complete.
Photos
Each player is required to upload a clear headshot to their LeagueApps profile. Please avoid using casual or unclear images such as Facebook profile photos. A low-resolution screenshot of a headshot works best.
To upload a photo:
Go to your LeagueApps Dashboard
Click Edit Profile
Upload your headshot and click Save at the bottom
📸 [View photo upload instructions here.]
Team Captains are encouraged to upload a team logo to personalize their team profile.
Roster Guidelines

8v8: Maximum of 15 players

Tips for Successful Team Management
Whether you're a new or returning team, consistency is key. Aim to build a roster of players who reliably attend matches and are committed to playing together regularly.
Strong teams also foster positive communication, offer constructive feedback, and often bond off the field as well. Teams that connect both on and off the pitch tend to perform better and have more fun doing it.
League Format Guidelines
⚽ 8v8 Format
Max players on field: 8 (including goalkeeper)
Coed Requirement: 3 players must be female
Or 2 females + 1 Designated Player (DP – male, age 44+)
Minimum to play: 5 players (at least 1 female)
If only 1 female is present, the team must play 2 players short
⚽ 5v5 Format
Max players on field: 5 (including goalkeeper)
Coed Requirement: 1 player must be female
Minimum to play: 3 players (at least 1 female)
⚽ 11v11 Format
Max players on field: 11 (including goalkeeper)
Coed Requirement: 5 players must be female
Or 4 females + 1 Designated Player (DP – male, age 44+)
Minimum to play: 7 players (must include a goalkeeper). In coed leagues, at least one player must be female.
*A "Designated Player" (DP) is a male player age 44 or older. The designated player rule is not to be interpreted, directly or indirectly, as an assessment of an individual's abilities or a means to discriminate against any particular player or group of players. The purpose of the designated player rule is to create diversity and allow team managers flexibility in filling their team rosters and reducing the possibility of a team forfeit due to a lack of eligible players.
