FORFEIT DEPOSIT POLICY

Each season, teams are required to pay a forfeit deposit (ranging from $100-$200) in addition to their team fees. Should a team need to forfeit a game, they are required to notify the league in writing by emailing info@baasl.org at least 24 hours before the scheduled match time of any anticipated forfeit. This allows time for the league to find an alternative opponent for the other team to play a friendly match. A forfeit where notification occurs with 24 hours of a match, a 2nd forfeit in a given season, or a forfeit of a playoff match, results in the loss of a team’s forfeit deposit. If this rule is observed for the entire season, the team is eligible to carryover their forfeit deposit to a future season or request a refund after the season ends. Please note that the forfeit deposit is not automatically refunded to you. It must be requested by emailing info@baasl.org.
